Carl Cox & Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco returns to McLaren Vale After Sell-Out Concert Last Year

You asked for it Adelaide and here it is! Carl Cox & Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco returns to McLaren Vale this November.

2016 marked the 10th Anniversary of Carl Cox and Eric Powell’s Mobile Disco, and their first trip into Adelaide.

Remarkably tickets sold out within 24 hours, and the crowd that turned up on the day was one of the best going around. Eric Powell commented:

“The response we received in Adelaide last year was overwhelming. We had nothing but positive feedback about the day, with the crowd waiting and hoping that we come back to do it all over again. Well I have good news; we are coming back, and this time we’ll be joined by the legendary British acid jazz band Incognito”.

Incognito are one of the few bands that can lay claim to having defined a genre, and have recorded sixteen studio albums over a thirty-five-year period. Frontman Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick will come armed with an epic ensemble of band members.

The Adelaide Mobile Disco crowd now have a good idea of what to expect on the day, Carl and Eric playing tracks that they grew with and that inspired their musical journeys; some of the best soul, funk, disco, and house tunes. Incognito will join the boys on stage with a set that will include some of their classic tracks: “Always There”, “Nights Over Egypt”, “Talkin’ Loud”, and “Parisienne Girl”.
