The Etsy Made Local markets are returning in this Christmas, bringing some of Australia’s best creatives together. The event will help shoppers connect with the makers and designers behind unique and perfect Christmas gifts in 10 cities around the country on Saturday 25 November.
First-time markets in Hobart, Gippsland, and Perth Hills will join Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Blue Mountains events, showcasing hundreds of talented Etsy sellers and making 2017 the biggest Etsy Made Local series yet.
For a third year, the markets will be running simultaneously across Australia on the same day, allowing shoppers around the country to meet, connect with and buy from their favourite Etsy sellers in person, discover new talent and shop local for their Christmas gifting.
The markets are organised by community teams of local Etsy sellers in each location and will feature handmade and vintage goods spanning everything from jewellery and fashion items to homewares, gifts, stationery and art.
More than 70,000 shoppers attended the market series in 2016 which provide the perfect opportunity for Australians to discover the best of their city’s creative community, support local artisans and find unique, affordable and meaningful gifts this Christmas.
The markets will help shoppers across the country find the perfect and unexpected gifts for special people in their lives, buying directly from the talented locals who made them.
