Adelaide’s Rymill Park will be transforming into an Espresso Martini heaven this February… so get this one in your diaries ASAP.

Complete with a private VIP Espresso Martini Island, Espresso Martini tastings, a competition to find South Australia’s beat Espresso Martini and of course, great food and live music across the two day event, the ‘Espresso Martini Festival’ is exactly what we have been waiting for.

This will be the first Espresso Martini Festival and competition of its kind in Adelaide. Hosting some of the best cocktail creators in Adelaide who will be presented with the challenge to create Adelaide’s best ‘Espresso Martini.’

Mr Goodbar is one of the eight bars competing in the competition, and owner, Goran Dedic, is confident that their unique recipe will give them the kick they need to take out the title of SA’s best Espresso Martini. At this stage. the ingredients are still under wraps… so you’ll just have to head down to Mr Goodbar’s stall to have a taste.

Located in Adelaide’s East End, Mr Goodbar is a popular after work and weekend destination, best known for their craft cocktails, seriously funky beats, exquisite attention to detail and suave atmosphere. There’s no doubt they’ll be pulling out all stops to secure the crown. We’re sure they will not disappoint.

Judging the competition is a panel of five experts from different fields, including a spirit master, coffee master, master chef, cocktail master and master distiller. It is also possible for you to cast a vote for the ‘People’s Choice Award.’ For $5, each bar will offer a 50ml sample of their Espresso Martini… sounds fabulous!

There will be plenty of festival munchies being served up, as well as a full set of local bands on musicians on the main stage all day and night. So, all you need to do is grab yourself a cocktail and relax on the grass and enjoy!

So if you have ever wanted to dance the night away on Rymill Park Island with some of the best cocktails and tunes, well then this is your chance. Cult Espresso Martini lovers (and just general cocktail lovers)…. this is the festival for you. We’ll see you there!
