Acacia at Henley Beach is serving up a Melbourne Cup Lunch, in a collaboration with Bondar Wines

On the menu they are offering up two flights of of snacks, main and a dessert. This looks set to be utterly creative and luxurious.

We have been given a sneak peak into their menu. Their Chuck tail flap with caramelised onion yoghurt, lacto fermented blueberry, puff beef tendon and nasturtium powder looks set to be a winner.

In addition to this, there is a fresh eucalypti curd, charred apple jam and cucumber sorbet. Have you ever tasted anything quite like it?

A wine pairing is also available. There will be a glass of wine on entry and a wine pairing to match all dishes. Along with this, Andre Bondar from Bondar Wines will be there on the day to talk the guests through the selections. To cap off the relaxed and innovative spread, the desert will be paired with an iced port.

The full sitting is $65 per head, payable on the day or prior to the event.

Wine pairing can be an additional experience for guests if they wish to participate for $35 per head including 3 glasses of wine and iced port to finish. Bookings are essential through the following link.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase wines via ordering.
