A new skin serum designed to tackle the harsh effects of Australia’s dry climate and women’s increasingly busy and stressful lifestyles has been launched by innovative South Australian skin care provider, Janesce.
The Balancing Serenity Serum is predominantly plant-based, using ingredients such as lavender, chamomile, rose and liquid silk to relieve sensitive and irritated skin, uneven texture and balance the activity of the oil glands in combination skin.
Janesce Director, Kristen Jelk, says the new product fills a niche in the skin care range as it’s lighter, helping skin to become more resistant to the harmful effects of stress, pollution, bad nutrition and South Australia’s dry climate.
“Unfortunately stress has become a normal part of our everyday lives, and often we don’t realise the impact it has on our skin and overall health. Lavender is widely known for its calming and soothing powers, which is why we created the Balancing Serenity Serum with lavender as its main ingredient,” said Ms Jelk.
“The combination of herbal ingredients used in the serum de-stresses and heals irritated or sensitive skin, regulates the activity of oil glands to promote healthy skin function and the lavender oil in particular has a calming effect on the psyche – and a calmer psyche is important for skin health.”
