Day Dance Festival Heads To McLaren Vale This March

The second ever Day Dance festival at Simon Hackett Winery is shaping up to be one great day, with pre-release tickets already sold out.

If you’re looking for a brief escape from the CBD during the Fringe Madness, we strongly suggest heading down to McLaren Value at the start of March for the second ever Day Dance festival.
Held at Simon Hackett Winery on Saturday March 3rd, Day Dance will see you dancing among picturesque vineyards to live and electronic music, while slurping scrumptious wines in the sun. After the success of the inaugural event, pre sales have already sold out, but don’t worry, more tickets have been made available.
Guests will be treated to to the B-Sharps throughout the afternoon before DJ Sophie hits the decks in the evening.  An array of the best food trucks will be serving food throughout the course of the day and of course the reliably refined wines from Simon Hackett’s range. They’re also putting on a dedicated Gin & Tonic Bar. For added convenience and luxury, the venue is providing picnic rugs for guests, so you can lay back, unwind and take in the exquisite views when you’re not hitting the dancefloor.
The event is designed to be relaxed country party, with no lines at the bar, for toilets or for food. Organiser Tim Klaosen says the event strives to have “a beautiful balance between a relaxing spacious day out at a winery. And a dance party amongst the vines.” If the weather is anything like what we’ve seen recently, fear not as there will be also free Zooper Doopers being handed out, for some additional relief.
Final release tickets are just $35.00, and there are shuttles from Hacienda off Rundle Street in the city at 11:30am. Organisers recommend playing it safe and taking advantage of the bus service.
Day Dance is at Simon Hackett Winery at Budgens Road, McLaren Vale  on Saturday March 3rd  and runs from midday until 7:30pm.
