Coopers Beer Garden Becomes Celebrity “Green Room” at WOMADelaide

Coopers’ beer garden will be transformed into the “green room” for international music stars at this year’s WOMADelaide festival.

The eco-friendly beer garden, set within the Botanic Gardens, will act as a casual and relaxed VIP hub for a variety of universal singing sensations.

CoopersTV, a dedicated YouTube channel, will use the gardens to capture extensive behind-the- scenes footage of WOMADelaide and hold exclusive interviews with a range of celebrity artists.

CoopersTV plays host to a range of exclusive content and has had over 16,000 views since its inception in October 2010.

Coopers Chairman and Marketing Director, Mr Glenn Cooper, said the Coopers beer garden was the ideal venue for celebrities and festival revellers to congregate and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

“The Coopers beer garden represents the Aussie backyard with a strong focus on sustainable living and food production,” he said.

“The designers have cleverly created a unique and visually striking setting using recycled materials which will sit perfectly among Adelaide’s beautiful Botanic gardens.

“These include an organic herb garden and Hills Hoist market umbrellas.”

Mr Cooper said the link with WOMADelaide and sustainable living was an obvious reflection of Coopers’ longstanding passion for naturally brewed ales.

“Coopers has brewed a unique range of ales with no additives or preservatives since Thomas Cooper’s first brew in 1862,” he said.

“The beer garden reflects our commitment and passion for naturally brewed ales which offer an alternative to many other products on the market.

“We couldn’t think of a better place for CoopersTV to capture the tastes and sounds of the world at WOMADelaide.”

The Coopers Beer garden will be open each day/night throughout WOMADelaide from March 11- 14.
