Clemenger BBDO Adelaide Win At Spikes Asia Advertising Festival

obstaclesphoto1Clemenger BBDO Adelaide have taken out the Silver at the Spikes Asia Advertising Festival 2010 in the TV/Cinema category for their television advertisement “Obstacles”, created for the Motor Accident Commission of South Australia.

“Obstacles” encourages motorcycle riders to consider their safety while riding on the roads, rather than treat the road like a motorcycle racing track. The ad shows a rider on a racetrack crashing and skidding into a number of obstacles such as those which exist on the side of real road, including a picnic bench, mailbox and bus. Featuring Moto GP World Champion Mick Doohan, the ad demonstrates that even the world’s best professional motorbike riders would face death or serious injury if they raced on the road.
