The ban has lifted, and that means that after many many long years Adelaide can finally throw open pub doors and welcome the public on Good Friday! We’re not sure about anyone else, but we’re celebrating.
We were also a bit excited when we learned that inner south local – the Arkaba Hotel will be welcoming us to Sporty’s Bar + Arena for a chilled Good Friday.
There’s no shortage of parties happening in the city, with both 2KW and Electra cranking up the DJ’s, but if you’re keen for the more traditional chilled Good Friday then we hear that Sporty’s will be turned into a bohemian setting with street food, cool vibes, and some mad drink specials.
There’ll be delectable street food on offer and laid-back acoustic tunes from Sophie Orchard, Tyson Pedro Music, and Amy Jennifer.
To keep you in the spirit, there’ll also be $20 jugs of cocktails, Brookvale Union Ginger Beer and Prancing Pony Indie Kid Pilsner (yassss)!
