This weekend, Spring leaves us, and Summer rolls in, and the weather finally seems to be playing nice! Friday we farewell one of our favourite seasons with a sunny 25 degree day, and a wine street party – it really doesn’t get much better than that.
With 18 distinctly different wine regions in South Australia, all with something unique to share, there are always new, shiny, precious (and delicious) gems to uncover. This Friday’s event ticks all the boxes.
The recently upgraded Bank Street will sparkle from 5pm to 8pm on Friday, November 30th for HIDDEN GEMS an event that sees 10 wineries from Kangaroo Island, Mt Benson, Padthaway and Wrattonbully coming together in the one place.
Cape Jaffa Wines, Eight at the Gate, Farmer’s Leap, Norfolk Rise Vineyard, Mount Benson Estate, Oparina Wines, The Stoke Wines, Wangolina and Karrawatta are just some of the wineries excited to make the journey from their regions to the Adelaide CBD.
The only thing they need is you to help polish-off some of the multi-faceted treasures they’ll have on offer.
Bank Street is the perfect place for some post-work wines on a Friday night on the last day of spring. As a DJ spins some tunes, simply sip-back and enjoy the atmosphere.
To gain entry download the 365 Days of Wine and Food app and purchase a souvenir wine glass for $5 at the event. Then all that’s left to do is to make the hard choice about what to try from the wineries selling their wares.
Wines are for sale by the half glass and the glass, but event-goers may also like to buy by the bottle to take home or out to Friday night dinner.
This event is brought to you by the South Australian Wine Industry Association, 365 Days of Wine and Food, and Adelaide A Great Wine Capital of the World.
