In a deal that has taken 14 months to complete, Total Fresh will be on the shelves at Wal-Mart stores from late October 2012, with ranging of the product to take it through to the end of 2013.
Manufactured in Melbourne, Total Fresh was invented 20 years ago by Carole Hanna and was launched in the USA by Aussie Inc. 3 years ago. With the Wal-Mart deal, Total Fresh will be selling in over 12,000 store fronts across the USA.
“I am really excited to be working with Wal-Mart” said Aussie Inc. CEO Todd Miller. “This has been a long time coming but with a lot of hard work and persistence we are ready.” Aussie Inc. continues to progress and grow, now taking a number of different products to the United States and Canada.
Aussie Inc. will also launch Swags in the United States from February 2013, working with Adelaide based The Jolly Swagman. In addition, Tucker’s Natural signed with Aussie Inc. in early 2012 and Tucker’s crackers are turning up on shelves of US Grocery stores.
“We are constantly looking for products that are unique to North America or can meet a specific consumer need” said Todd. “Market research and evaluation is a critical element to succeed in the USA and Canada. The US market continues to be a challenge with the economy and the strong Australian dollar, but we keep chipping away at it everyday.”
