We’ve been spoilt with free burgers, 50SixOne freak shakes, Lord of Fries, Krispy Kreme doughnuts and now… free pizza pockets.
Antica’s new creation – Pizza Pockets launch on Thursday June 8 and to celebrate they are giving away 100 FREE pizza pockets to the first 100 people at Antica Morphett St, City from 12pm.
Prepared fresh every morning by Antica’s chefs, all ingredients are locally sourced and come in four delicious flavours: Meatball, Pulled pork, Fried calamari/zucchini and Eggplant parmigiana. Antica owner Anthony Crea created these artisan pizza pockets to reinvent the lunchtime sandwich.
“It came to us really as we always ate focaccias or baguettes and found that they weren’t easy to eat as the ingredients always came out from the bottom and was always messy. But with our pizza pockets, all ingredients are confined safely inside of the pocket which is sealed on the bottom which makes it easy to eat without getting your hands messy,” Anthony says.
Antica is home to signature wood oven pizzas, the one metre savoury and dessert pizza as well as a variety of authentic Italian dishes.
