The initiative, created by local music identity Enrico ‘Mick’ Morena is a network for Adelaide entertainment  industry folk to gather in a familiar  environment.

The sessions, held at the Goodwood Institute, are a brilliant collaboration of historical and current music industry success which pairs industry stalwarts with up and comers in a learning and mentoring collaboration. Previous events have seen performances by the Brewster Brothers (The Angels), John Schumann (Redgum), members of the original Master’s Apprentices, and Swanee. This session will feature music by Rockin’ Rob Riley (Rose Tattoo), The Shaolin Afronauts and Kaurna Cronin in what will be a magnificent night hosted by the very funny Dave Flanagan.

Those deemed to have made a significant contribution to the music industry are also inducted into the SA Music Hall Of Fame, put together by none other than legendary radio identity David ‘Daisy’ Day. This sessions inductions will include Folk Singer Doug Ashdown, TV personality Bob Francis and recording studio maestro Max Pepper among others.

Having attended the past two, you really want to get in quick as they are selling out well in advance. If you are keen on getting up close and personal with our incredibly talented musicians, then get on down to the Goodwood Institute on Friday 29 August at 7:30 p.m. You won’t be disappointed!
