All The Action In Pics From The Adelaide 500

Adelaide 500 is done for its first year (after 20 Clipsals) and what can we say but: “Thank god for photographer Phil Williams”.

I love my motorsport and I love a great race…. but the big show let us down this year with the only real racing excitement being and early Whincup wind-up. It was a racing event that was average at best.

The Stadium Supertrucks did an admirable job of pumping the crowd up, with a spectacutar finish, but the van Gis Bergen win in the big race was a case of points without performance.

But 10s of thousands of Robbie Williams fans… following in the footsteps of cracker crowds for Cold Chisel and Live… have saved the day for the “white labelled” Adelaide 500.

And, luckily, Glam Adelaide has the tog at the turns with a lens on life, capturing all that is the Adelaide 500.
