Adelaide’s Feel Good Festival Is Returning!

Celebrate wellness, relaxation and all-important self-care at this year’s 9th Enlighten Adelaide Festival.

Celebrate wellness, relaxation and all-important self-care at this year’s 9th Enlighten Adelaide Festival. Uniting local businesses and the community, the festival kicks off on July 28 and July 29 in the heart of the CBD at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

The wellness festival offers everyone to explore and experience healthy therapies, nutrition, meditations, exercise and numerous wellbeing techniques. It’s your one stop to everything natural and healing, and it’s only here for a weekend!

Sue Shaw the festival director is committed to providing a welcoming environment. It’s a special place where South Australian based practitioners can show people how to take care of their own health and well-being and how to have more energy and balance in their lives.

“We are excited to be featuring 85 professionals from various fields who will be offering expert advice, products and services,” says Sue Shaw.

The two-day festival will include a number of interactive experiences including a Day Spa Room where people can enjoy massage, reiki energy healing and other modalities in a private setting. There will be a variety of complementary classes in the ‘Come and Try Zone’ including of Pilates, Dru Yoga, Yoga Flow, Meditation and Chiball. Their free workshop topics range from Gut Health to Sound & Energy Chakra Balancing, Manifestation and so much more. Expect fabulous presenters such as Jenni Greenfield, Jo Fuller and Diane Bellchambers.

“Our aim is not only to educate people about healing processes and how to bring calm into their lives naturally, but also to conquer any misconceptions surrounding alternative therapies,” says Sue Shaw.

“Visitors can be assured of only reputable and qualified practitioners showcasing at the festival – the Enlighten Adelaide program raises the bar for our industry.”

In addition to the wide range of exhibitors, a variety of local musicians will be performing throughout the weekend courtesy of Sacred Music Adelaide. Offering a full immersion experience, the festival will also feature a broad selection of mouth-watering food options including vegetarian paella at the Festival Café, a barista station and a selection of healthy, gluten-free, raw treats. So all you vegan and gluten-free peeps will have plenty of options!

“We are also excited to introduce the Kids Creative Corner – we have face painting, henna tattooing, story time meditation, dress ups, children’s crystal healings and craft activities to keep the little ones entertained for hours,” says Sue Shaw. The whole family can come to this one, with under 15 year olds free.
