Adelaide Oval Is Throwing A St. Patrick’s Day Party To Remember

The Adelaide Oval is turning green & planning some great entertainment for St. Patricks Day, so round up your family and friends for a great night out!

On Friday 17 March, Adelaide Oval is turning green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day from 8 am until late. Just one short hop over the Torrens bridge and you can revel in all the Irish festivities set up thanks to the Irish Australian Association. The party will be taking place in the Telstra Plaza with plenty of food, drinks and live entertainment.

It’s set to be a big day of celebrations so, round-up your family and friends for some stunning performances by Irish dancers and pipers, live music, face-painting, Gaelic Football and much more. If you really want, you could join in with the River Dancers on the side and see how high your legs will go. Please, don’t pull a hammy.

St. Patrick’s Day wouldn’t be the same without a pint or two so, for the older folk enjoy some Guinness and Kilkenny on tap and some tasty Jameson-inspired cocktails. It’s an all ages event and there will be plenty of delicious traditional Irish food served up from breakfast through to dinner.

Now, the tradition goes that if you go without green you’ll get a whack. Let’s avoid that! So, we say go all out but, if your wardrobe isn’t fifty shades of green check out The Iconic, Asos, Forever New or BNKR. They have some great clothing and accessories to get you into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit that you won’t mind wearing again after the celebrations.

Get your family and friends together and your green outfits on and head down to Adelaide Oval Friday, March 17th. So, you don’t miss out on any key info that might pop up, follow the St Patrick’s Day at Adelaide Oval Facebook event.
