The Adelaide Oval is set to be greener than ever before. This St Patrick’s Day, in conjunction with the Adelaide Irish Club, Adelaide Oval is turning green, in every sense of the word.
Starting early in the morning and continuing on until late into the evening, you will be able to go and revel in the Irish festivities on the Telstra Plaza where there will be food and drinks, free entry and live entertainment all day long.
This event is open to all ages so round up your family and friends for a big day of celebrations featuring Irish dancers, pipers, live music, Irish dancing classes and much more.
In true Irish style, you will be able to enjoy Guinness on tap, Jameson-inspired cocktails and traditional Irish food served throughout the event.
And if you were hoping to dance your way around, then that is also completely possible. Live music will be provided by Celtic & Comhaltas traditional musicians, Ceol Maith, Mollydooker, Folk n Spicy, Gallowglass, Shambolics, Timbers and The Borderers. Irish dancing will also be on show, with the Adelaide Academy of Irish Dance as well as many other dance school showcasing their best skills.
The day is set to be filled with many way to celebrate all things Irish and gloriously green. So, may the road rise up to meet you… on the way there!
