Write this one on the calendar, the 2019 Adelaide French Festival is coming, and is going to be even bigger and better than the last.

After this year’s success of the Adelaide French Festival, the celebration is returning to the Adelaide Festival Centre in January 2019 for yet another affair.

The three day festival will span from January 11 to 13, and highlights the beautiful French region of Brittany by incorporating a decadent program of music, theatre, performance and visual arts as well as food, fashion and family fun.

The 2019 program showcases 67 international artists and more than 60 Australian artists, and will feature two world premieres, 15 Australian premieres and more than 20 premieres especially for Adelaide French Festival.

You can expect to find chef Nathalie Beavuais from Le Jardin Gourmand creating authentic French seafood dinners, and L’Apres-Midi D’un Foehn – a spectacular artsy performance embodying ordinary plastic bags which will be brought to life by a mysterious ballet master, plus many, many more.
