This weekend is set to be a huge one in Adelaide. We are already in the midst of the biggest and best Adelaide Fringe season yet, and now even more excitement hits our fair town as the Adelaide Festival kicks off!
It officially opens with what could probably be described as one of the most breathtaking spectacles ever, a light and fire show by the world famous French maestros, Groupe F. Adelaide Oval will light up for the special event on Saturday 27 March, as they bring their show À Fleur de Peau to the Oval. This spectacular has smashed Adelaide Festival records, becoming the fastest selling show in the Festival’s 55 year history.
As if that wasn’t enough, this year’s program also features 30 theatre, music, dance and visual arts events including Adelaide Writers’ Week. The line-up includes 7 world premieres, 21 Australian premieres and 20 events exclusive to Adelaide over the 18 day Festival.
