Adelaide Designer Heads To Fashion Palette NYFW

For the first time, some of Australia’s most innovative and emerging designers will unveil their Spring/Summer 19 Collections with Fashion Palette as part of the Australian Womenswear Collection show on schedule with IMG NYFW: The Shows on September 7, 2018.

Aussie labels Bronx & Banco, Elliatt, Saski Collection, Elle Zeitoune, Santina-Nicole, DA by Daniel, Harvey the Label (hailing from Adelaide), NNCY, The Blonde Republic, Avery Verse and Jagger & Stone will showcase their collections at Industria.

“Fashion Palette continues to support local designers at NYFW and this season we are thrilled to showcasing our annual platform on schedule as part of IMG NYFW: The Shows. We take pride in continuing to strengthen the Australian fashion industry and over the years have created a unique global platform as part of the fashion landscape to showcase Australian labels to world-wide buyers, media, stylists and celebrities.” says Sonya Mefaddi, Director of Fashion Palette.

In keeping with the Aussie spirit, hair and beauty sponsor partners, Davroe Hair Wellness, Natur al-Vegan- Australian Hair Care and Alison Jade, Australian mineral makeup brand, will also take a team of stylists to New York for all hair and makeup looks on the Fashion Palette NYFW program.

Harvey the Label

The namesake label was established in 2015 by Head Designer, Mim Harvey. HARVEY was founded on the creative vision of creating ready to wear pieces that are confident, distinctive and versatile in style. HARVEY instils an ethical approach to design; producing only 100 garments of each style. Amidst the growth of the label, HARVEY continues to remain true to this commitment. The brand is now available at 180+ retailers internationally. 2017 saw the opening of HARVEY’s first flagship store on the boutique strip of Rundle Street, Adelaide.

Bronx & Banco

Bronx and Banco designs encapsulate are sophisticated, chic and sexy with a playful sensibility that reflects the impeccable style of the label’s Founder and Creative Director; Natalie DeBanco. With a strong love of all things sartorial and a rich family history that is immersed within the international fashion industry, Natalie quickly developed an understanding of the industry unparalleled to many. Bronx and Banco is stocked in over 200 department stores and boutiques worldwide that including Australia, New Zealand, USA, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands, Greece and Russia to name a few.

Elliatt

After working for a number of high profile Australian fashion brands, Katie Pratt saw a gap in the Australian market for unique designer womenswear at an accessible price point. Katie launched ELLIATT from her home, in Australia in 2011.  ELLIATT specializes in fine detailing such as embroidery, laces and specialty fabrications, all of which are intrinsic to the brand’s signature high-quality, innovative product. Initially focused on occasion wear for the Sydney and Melbourne social scenes, ELLIATT has since grown globally, and is now stocked across 6 continents, in more than 1200 boutiques globally, including majors such as Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Neman Marcus, Revolve, VIP.com, Anthropology and  Urban Outfitters.

Saski Collection

DA by Daniel

Daniel Alexander is an award-winning international designer born and bred in Queensland, with more than 18 years in the industry. The DA by Daniel brand oozes sophistication and edge. Daniel himself is a driven, open-minded creative, who possesses a strong sense of commitment to all that he does. Alexander recently returned from a world tour where he unveiled his ground breaking and conceptual live couture show.

Elle Zeitoune

Established in early 2010 Elle Zeitoune is an Australian label reflecting sophistication, elegance and glamour. Offering an exclusive range of gorgeous feminine cocktail, evening, bridesmaids and bridal dresses, Elle Zeitoune captures the very essence of femininity and elegance. Elle Zeitoune uses a combination of classic silhouettes with a modern edge which create lasting impressions.

Santina-Nicole
