Adelaide Casino Prepares for $330m Expansion with a World Renowned Food & Beverage GM

Bring on 2020! The Adelaide Casino scores major coup in latest Food and Beverage General Manager.

As if we weren’t excited enough about the revamp of the Adelaide Casino…they have just gone and announced the appointment of world-renowned Food & Beverage General Manager.

Todd Roydhouse has jumped on board and just reading his credentials has got us counting down the days ’till the 2020 opening.  He comes to Adelaide from Dubai, where he worked in senior management roles with the InterContinental Hotel Group. Before that was Executive Chef, Crown Melbourne where he oversaw the opening of 20 restaurants over six years, set up a ‘Chef Library’ and built a Culinary Studio to support the training and professional development of his team. Adelaide is in safe hands…

Adelaide Casino General Manager Luke Walker said Todd “Brings a wealth of experience and fresh
new ideas to Adelaide Casino as we embark on creating a world-class integrated entertainment
destination…His global experience managing large, diverse teams and creating a high-performance team culture will assist us in developing our food and beverage offerings to attract more international and interstate visitors and build loyalty with local clients.”

Plans are in motion to focus on creating new experiences for customers by opening diverse bars and
restaurants over the next few years and further investing in existing venues within Adelaide Casino.

“Our newest destinations, Sean’s Kitchen and Madame Hanoi, are both operating successfully with
great support from local, interstate and international visitors, but we want to keep raising the bar by
offering greater choice to customers…This will include creating more pop-up venues during the expansion works over the next few years as we did recently with the opening of the Veuve Clicquot Champagne Bar.”” said Walker.

Mr Roydhouse is just as in love with South Australian produce and wines as us and said he can’t wait to get started working with the locals.

“As a former chef and passionate foodie, working in South Australia to create new restaurants and
bars within a world-class destination like Adelaide Casino is an incredible opportunity,” he said.

Construction of the $330 million expansion of Adelaide Casino will begin in early 2018, following the
completion of the early works.

The expanded Casino includes a boutique, all-suite hotel, new signature restaurants and bars,
including a rooftop bar, and function spaces for up to 750 people for banquets and events.
