ABC Launches Competition To Find The 12 Dogs Of Christmas

Swap the bone for a crown and enter your dog into ABC Radio Adelaide’s 12 Dogs of Christmas competition

Your precious pooch could win the Christmas crown or a place as one of the ABC’s 12 Dogs of Christmas. Closing on November 19, dog lovers and paw-ents still have plenty of time to get their barking mad entries in.
Can you picture your dog at a glamorous photoshoot, behind the camera, posing with their pearly whites? That’s one of the major prizes you could win, accompanied by a Pooch Pamper Hamper and a Deluxe Doggy Bag for your best friend. To enter, take a photo or video of your hound with a Christmas theme and tell us in 100 words or less, what is special about your dog? Post your entries to the Facebook event here: http://bit.ly/ABC12Dogs
The unveiling of the 12 Dogs of Christmas will start on November 27 with 1 dog revealed daily, and the grand prize and Christmas crown recipient being announced by Ali Clarke LIVE from Henley Square on Friday 8 December.

Join us for this paw-tastic Christmas celebration with the RSPCA and City of Charles Sturt in Henley Square on the morning of Friday 8 December. Be a part of the ABC Radio audience, walk the red carpet, get your Christmas Paw-Trait taken and lap up the paw-licious atmosphere. Look out for giveaway, special guests, pop up stalls and more!

But it’s not all wagging tails when it comes to your best friend. There’s a serious side to caring for your pets and when you are considering a new family member.  Check the new online ABC ‘Pet Pawtal’ for a collection of ABC pet friendly stories http://bit.ly/ABCPetPawtal and the RSPCA website http://www.rspcasa.org.au for a huge selection of helpful information.
The ABC Radio Adelaide Breakfast show with Ali Clarke will kick off LIVE from Henley Square at 6am, followed by Deb Tribe at 9am which will continue throughout the morning until 11am.
