The District Council of Mount Barker is again thrilled to be the principal organiser and sponsor of the 2010 Mount Barker JAZZfest, which is on this weekend – May 21-23 2010.
Mount Barker has fast become the focal point for jazz in South Australia and is widely supported; not just from the general public, but from the media and jazz industry in other parts of Australia, including other significant Jazz festivals held in Victoria.
This year the Festival welcomes Australian jazz legends Don Burrows and Bob Barnard as featured guests.
Over 30 jazz bands will participate in and around Mount Barker’s town centre throughout the weekend!
The Main Stage (Bluestone Stage) is located at the Wallis Tavern, Auchendarroch House.
SteamRanger is involved again this year, running their special Jazz Trains (Rail Cars) from Mount Barker.
