Australia’s premier aerial park is celebrating its third birthday with a fantastic addition! A Giant Swing experience is coming to Mega Adventure at West Beach next week.
Combining the thrill of swinging fast and high through the air with gorgeous ocean views, the giant swing will undoubtedly get adrenaline junkies their fix.
The swing has been in the works since Mega Adventure opened and its arrival is a huge drawcard for visitors.
Riders are strapped into their seat at ground level, before being winched up to 18m off the ground where they release the swing.
Mega Adventure also offers Adelaide’s leading climbing course, the SkyChallenge, which has more than 80 aerial crossings, a free-fall jump and the Crows Nest – a 30-metre, near-vertical climb.
But SkyChallenge is a lengthier option so if you want a shorter thrill then the swing takes about half an hour with the ride lasting just under 10 minutes.
Mega Adventure caters for all ages and abilities and provides the ideal day out for families wanting some screen-free outdoor fun over the school holidays.
They’ve had anything from families, work groups and even pre-wedding parties so we’d recommend booking online! Spots fill up fast.
The Giant Swing has a minimum height restriction of one metre and a maximum weight restriction of 128kg.
Tickets are available for individual purchase or as an add-on to the SkyChallenge. Gift vouchers are also available and make great Christmas gifts for thrill seekers.
Mega Adventure is open daily from 10am to 6pm and can be found on within Adelaide Shores, on the corner of Military Road and Hamra Avenue, West Beach.
The swing is due to open next Friday on the 21 of December!
